Ms. Kangas is a graduate of Simmons College and received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1980. Her practice areas include civil litigation, municipal law, real estate, and family law. She previously served a decade as a member and chairperson of the Board of Selectman of the Town of Boxborough, Massachusetts (1973 - 1983). She also served as Deputy Director, Consumer Division, Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (1978), and as a Gubernatorial appointee to the Massachusetts Governor's Commission on the Status of Women (1974 - 1976). She is past President for the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. Ms. Kangas has a general practice with a focus in Massachusetts family law and probate law.
